NonSelfSense

Words mingle and talk about various topics, the likes of which words speak of. Small talk leads to the elongation of the verbal inadequacies inherent in all verbiage. A wild orgy of ontological synonyms, all simultaneously in the definitionary position. Somewhere between here and then, meaning gets dropped off and is never seen again, most likely stolen by the white van of emptiness and reason.

What is a letter? What does the shape represent? What abstract concept lies behind the simple façade of a few lines drawn in various arrangements? Assigning meaning to something that is in truth absolutely nothing. A letter, word, sentence…it is all truly meaningless. We assemble them like children's blocks in the hopes that someone will recognize the inherent truth that lies behind the shapes. It is not the word that has the power, but the individual reading the word. We insert our own meanings, stories, myths into these arcane symbols that trap us within the confines of a 26 letter alphabet, and a mess of grammatical rules and regulations. Deconstruction of our language is needed if we are to rise above the concepts that weigh us down in the present and past.
